My husband, Josh, and I have been married for 8 years, and have known each other for 17 years. Our son, Emmett, is a Kindergartener in the PGCPS system. He loves bugs and is looking forward to the next time a big cicada brood hits Cheverly. Louisa is 2 and commutes into DC with us on the metro every day. She has a lot to say about WMATA and folks who take up two seats on the train.
During the recent government shutdown, we saw the best of Cheverly shine as neighbors banded together to help families who were struggling (including my own). It was a perfect example of what makes our town wonderful, and one of the reasons I want to serve.
